As announced Tuesday (Feb. 3), the pop star will serve as the next Fortnite Festival icon, allowing fans to channel her style and music for the Rock Band-esque game’s 13th season. Roan’s avatar features her signature red hair and theatrical makeup, with players able to choose from the “Roan of Arc” outfit she wore at the 2024 VMAs or a pink leotard and cowboy hat combo inspired by her Billboard Hot 100 hit “Pink Pony Club.”

This iteration of Festival will also feature a main stage modeled after Roan’s medieval castle setup every night on her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour last year, plus various Roan-themed instruments and accessories. The Missouri native’s Fortnite package also comes with two emotes — a “Pink Pony Club” dance choreographed by Ryan Heffington and a traversal “Femininomenon” emote — and “Good Luck, Babe!,” “Hot to Go!” and “The Giver” returning as jam tracks.

Fans will be able to start playing as Roan on Thursday (Feb. 5). It’s a long time in the making for the singer, who told BBC Radio 1 in a January 2025 interview that she’s an avid Fortnite player (and, at the time, was loving using Ariana Grande’s skin as her avatar in the game).

“I play on Nintendo Switch, so that’s how serious I take it,” Roan said. “That is what I’m going to use this interview for, is to [ask]: ‘Please give me a dance. Please.’”

The Fortnite news comes on the heels of Roan’s eye-catching appearance at the 2026 Grammys on Sunday (Feb. 1). On the carpet, the 2025 best new artist winner turned heads — and sparked a ton of online discourse — with her daring Mugler nipple-ring dress.

On Instagram shortly afterward, Roan responded to the chatter by writing, “Giggling because I don’t even think this is THAT outrageous of an outfit. The look’s actually so awesome and weird. I recommend just exercising your free will it’s really fun and silly.”
